Ain't No Ant, It's A Monster

The Inferential Focus research approach is geared to identify insights into significant changes before those dynamics are well recognized. While such changese merge in a wide variety of arenas – geopolitics, consumer behavior, tech andother specific industries, commodities, business practices – they rarely emerge from individual companies. We do not typically start our explorations by looking a tcompanies or stocks. Every once in a while, however, we find evidence of a larger change hidden within an individual company’s moves. The announcements and actions surrounding the anticipated public listing of Ant Financial (now Ant Group),beyond the decision to list in China, seem to provide this evidence.
