China's Long-Term Innovation

China’s focus on long-term planning and investment in both manufacturing and process innovation has been paying dividends. Now, following the conclusion of China’s recent Two Sessions political event and with the government’s adoption of its 15th Five-Year (15·5) Plan, the Asian power is further ramping up manufacturing sophistication in sectors in which it has already become a world leader while pursuing innovation in diverse new areas and technologies to push for global leadership.
