While many people recognize the durability of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and the disease it causes, COVID-19, most seemingly have yet to realize the depth, spread and persistence of the problems that society’s encounters with the infection have caused. Medical scientists admit they seem to know less and less about the virus, even as they learn more and more about it. Leaders must come to grips with the strength and long-lasting effects of the virus on several areas: Work, Education, Technology,the Economy, Business and Society. The breadth of changes is signaling that societ yand the economy have reached an inflection point – that is, a period of significant revaluation, reassessment and redirection. Also, the headaches that the pandemic hangover is causing will require more time than most leaders anticipate to understand and address and will take more resources than currently allocated to relieve.
