Women’s actions seem to be leading a societal change toward a new general context – that is, toward what we have called the next Grand Narrative. Movement toward a new general vision for society carries with it several new values, which women have traditionally tended to favor, including sharing, personal communications and community. Women’s actions complement a large demographic shift that also portends a movement toward moderation and balance. Our observations suggest that a slow pushback – or rather, a movement away – from intentional conflict and contentiousness will unfold in the months and years ahead.
